According to the Kia dealer serving Spring, the 2020 Kia Soul seats five and comes in five trim levels: LX, S, X-Line, GT-Line, EX and GT-Line Turbo. All models other than the top-line GT-Line Turbo are equipped with a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. The S, X-Line, GT-Line and EX trims get a continuous variable transmission (CVT), while the base LX trim features a standard six-speed manual transmission, with the CVT available as an option. The GT-Line Turbo is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. All models get front-wheel drive.

Kia Soul LX

Standard features for the base LX model include 16-inch steel wheels, rear privacy glass, automatic headlights, a height-adjustable driver's seat, a folding rear seat that splits 60/40, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an audio system with six speakers, a 7-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth. Safety features that come standard include hill start assist and a rearview camera.

The LX equipped with the CVT gets body-colored mirrors and door handles, a fuel-saving stop-start system, remote locking and unlocking, selectable driving modes, cruise control and a storage console located under the armrest.

Kia Soul S

The S trim comes with upgraded cloth upholstery, alloy wheels and a long list of driver-assistance features, including lane keeping assist, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a drowsy driver attention warning system, and a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.

Kia Soul X-Line

The tough-looking X-Line comes with exclusive 18-inch wheels, silver mirror caps, unique exterior body cladding, foglights, cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and roof rails.

Kia Soul SX

The top-of-the-line SX trim is motivated by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that’s good for 245 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, matched with a six-speed automatic transmission. The SX gets many of the features of the EX with the Premium package. The SX also comes with 18-inch wheels, black-painted exterior accents, metal interior trim, automatic high-beam control, LED headlights and fog lights, a sport-tuned suspension, a rear spoiler, red brake calipers, a flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters, a larger driver information display and a spare tire.

Kia Soul GT-Line

The GT-Line comes with unique 18-inch wheels, sporty exterior accents, foglights, a triangle-pattern grille, gloss-black mirrors, and the leather-wrapped steering wheel. Also standard are drowsy driver warning, lane departure warning and forward collision warning. The optional GT-Line Sunroof package adds keyless entry and ignition, a blind-spot monitor a wireless charger and a sunroof.

Kia Soul EX

The EX trim gets 17-inch wheels, fog lights, upgraded headlights, LED daytime running lights, keyless entry and ignition, heated mirrors, a triangle-pattern grille, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, a wireless charging pad, a rear center armrest, a removable cargo floor, adjustable rear headrests, a cargo cover and another USB port. The infotainment system gets a 10.3-inch screen, navigation, HD and satellite radio, and voice recognition. The EX gets all the Soul’s advanced safety features standard.

Kia GT-Line Turbo

The top-line GT-Line Turbo trim combines the features of the EX with the appearance of the GT-Line. The equipment list starts with the features of the EX and adds LED external lights, a sunroof, a chrome exhaust, a heated steering wheel, cloth and simulated leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, LED interior lighting, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system with 10 speakers. Also standard are a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, and pedestrian detection for the forward collision system.
