The 2020 Kia Soul seats five passengers and is available in five trim levels: LX, S, X-Line, GT-Line, EX and GT-Line Turbo. All trims other than the GT-Line Turbo are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine developing 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. On the LX trim, this unit is connected to a standard six-speed manual transmission or an available CVT that’s standard on the other trims. The GT-Line Turbo employs a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine generating 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque, teamed to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. All models are front-wheel drive only.

The driver and passengers will appreciate the Soul’s spacious interior, with ample headroom and clearance for knees. There’s even plenty of room under the front seats for the rear passengers’ feet. The upper trim levels get softer cabin materials and luxurious stitching.

There’s an ample 24.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, which is quite spacious for the Soul’s segment. The Soul features an available dual-level floorboard that owners can customize to create more luggage space or a flat load area.

Standard features on the base LX trim include cloth seats, air conditioning, a six-way adjustable driver seat, six airbags, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch touchscreen and a USB port. The higher trim levels come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen that provides plenty of screen real estate to view phone, audio and navigation features.
