The 2019 Kia Forte is available in four trim levels, listed as FE, LXS, S and EX. Under the hood, the Forte gets a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) on all models except the FE, which gets a standard six-speed manual gearbox. Kia Forte LXS

The Forte LXS trim includes 16-inch alloy wheels, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, soft-touch surfaces on the dash and doors, and selectable drive modes.

Kia Forte S

Step up to the S trim and you’ll get 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rear-seat armrest, foglights, LED daytime running lights, a six-speaker audio system, Uvo communication services and satellite radio. The available S Premium package adds automatic high beams, LED headlights and a sunroof.

Kia Forte EX

The top-of-the-line EX trim includes simulated-leather upholstery, heated side mirrors, keyless entry, push-button ignition, a windshield wiper de-icer, a keyless trunk opener, a sliding armrest, heated and ventilated front seats, a power adjustable driver's seat, and two more USB ports. The EX also gets driver assist features that include rear cross-traffic alert, lane change assist and blind-spot monitoring.

The optional EX Launch Edition package brings even more features to the table. It features exclusive 17-inch wheels, a rear decklid spoiler, a sunroof, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a navigation system with voice controls, a wireless device charger, LED headlights, a larger gauge cluster display, an eight-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and HD radio. Driver assistance features in this package include rear parking sensors, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control and automatic high beams.
