Exploring the 2025 Kia K4 Trim Levels

One of the first things you will notice about the K4 is its streamlined design that blends nature with technology and practicality with emotion. The result is a unique and exciting breath of fresh air, particularly when comparing it to the rest of the compact class.

Speaking of comparisons, you might also notice the K4's wide stance, which is the largest in its class. Its width, which measures 72.8 inches, gives it a commanding presence, not to mention more room than you might expect on the inside and class-leading second-row legroom. There’s also a sense of power and confidence, making passersby stop and take a second look.

Of course, the K4 also brings Katy drivers peace of mind thanks to the industry-leading warranty that Kia offers. That coverage includes a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a five-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, and a five-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty. Additionally, you will enjoy roadside assistance for five years or 60,000 miles.

With these things in mind, let’s take a closer look at the trim levels to see which one might work best for your driving needs.

2025 Kia K4 LX

While the LX is the base trim, a quick look at what it offers shows that it is anything but basic. First, it provides you with impressive fuel efficiency, including an EPA-estimated 40 MPG on the highway. This is great news for drivers who spend a lot of time on the road. It also offers a smooth, refined ride thanks to the 2.0L four-cylinder engine.

Regarding technology, you will find a long list of driver-assist features onboard, including systems that alert you to changes in traffic flow and offer brake and steering support when needed. Additionally, push-button start offers convenience, while an easy-to-use infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen lets you seamlessly connect a compatible phone to access Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

The LX is also comfortable, whether you are running errands around town or taking a long-awaited road trip with your best friend. Additionally, it includes the creature comforts you would expect, such as well-placed USB charging ports and remote start.

2025 Kia K4 LXS

One of the first things you might notice about the LXS is that it offers more exterior color choices than the LX, which only comes in Aurora Black Pearl, Snow White Pearl, or Interstellar Gray. The interior, on the other hand, remains the same, with a gray-and-black theme.

Other changes include a few more driver-assist features, including Blind-Spot Collision Warning and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, which could be a strong motivator to upgrade to this trim if you’re regularly navigating congested conditions.

Many of the other features are the same, although the LXS does come standard with 60/40 split-folding rear seats. This feature makes it easier to expand trunk space, allowing you to transport longer items. Another change is the six-speaker audio system rather than the four-speaker system found in the LX.

2025 Kia K4 EX

The EX trim is where you start to see a few more changes, starting with the opportunity to opt for green-and-black TriCot embossed cloth seats. You’ll also find one-touch power windows for both the driver and passenger seats, as well as dual-zone auto climate control.

The interior of the EX also offers more aggressive styling, thanks to the SynTex gearshift knob and steering wheel. Another change is easy to see the instant you slide into the driver's seat, as the EX comes standard with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument display, matching the 12.3-inch touchscreen display that sits center on the dash.

There is also a five-inch climate display between the two 12.3-inch screens, providing you with the current HVAC temperature, fan speed, and vent position. Additionally, the EX allows you to go cord-free thanks to its wireless phone charging capabilities.

Finally, there are a few exterior changes that might tempt you to choose this trim over the first two, including a gloss black and chrome front grille and larger, 17-inch alloy wheels with a black machined finish.

GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo

While the EX changes things up with a green-and-black color scheme, the GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo take styling up another notch with either black-and-red or black-and-white SynTex seats.

The changes don’t stop there, as you will find the GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo both offer standard Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go - Curve and Highway Driving Assist. These features help Katy drivers maintain a safe following distance, lane position, and speed, even on curves, when driving on the highway. Additionally, both of these trims offer a sportier vibe—both inside and out—along with heated driver and passenger seats.

It is also worth noting that the GT-Line Turbo brings in more natural light thanks to the standard sunroof, which has a power sunshade for when it's too bright out. You can also add this option to the GT-Line.

If that’s not enough, both the GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo come standard with Kia AI Assistant. This AI-powered voice system answers questions, provides maintenance information, and controls functions such as air conditioning, audio volume, and more.

Perhaps the most important change, however, is the engine that powers the GT-Line Turbo. This trim features a unique 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder that adds a bit of punch to your everyday driving. Additionally, the GT-Line Turbo comes standard with Small Cube LED projection headlights, alloy pedal covers, rear-seat air vents, a premium Harman Kardon sound system, and more.
